Privacy Policy
The short version
This is a content site with no accounts and no sign-up forms. We collect very little: the items below are everything.
What we collect
- Contact form. If you write to us, the name, email address and message you type are held briefly by our edge worker, delivered to our own mailbox, and then deleted from that store. We use them to answer you and nothing else. To limit spam, your IP address is also used for a short-lived message count that expires within a day.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets Google cookies (such as
_ga), and Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. Visitors in the EU, EEA and UK see a consent banner, and analytics does not load unless you accept. - Platform cookie (
svf_src). If you arrive through one of our social-media links, we set a small first-party cookie remembering which platform you came from (for example "tiktok"). It identifies the platform, not you, and expires after 180 days. - Outbound clicks. When you use a link to the program we review, our edge worker logs the time, the page it came from, the platform cookie above, your country code and your browser's user-agent string, so we know which pages are useful. That log holds no name or email address.
- Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (IP address, user agent, requested page) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your choices
- In the EU, EEA and UK you can decline analytics in the banner. Clearing this site's storage brings the banner back.
- In California, a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out, and analytics does not load.
- Anywhere, you can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works fine without them.
- We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
What we don't do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
- No newsletter or email list on this site.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links. If you click one, you leave this site and the destination (for example ClickBank and the product vendor) applies its own privacy policy and its own cookies to attribute the referral. See our affiliate disclosure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. We don't build visitor profiles, so there is usually little to look up, but you can always ask: hello@psychologyofdating.net.
Children
This site is intended for adults (18+) and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated effective date.
