About Psychology of Dating
Dating advice for women that explains the why — without games, scripts-as-magic, or promises nobody can keep.
Hi, I'm Jade
I write everything on this site, and I make the videos you may have found me through (@love.notes.jade on TikTok and Instagram). I'm a writer who has spent years reading relationship psychology — attachment research, communication studies, the good pop-psychology and the bad — and translating it into plain English for the moments dating actually puts you in: he went quiet, the text landed wrong, the same fight happened again.
I'm not a therapist or a counselor, and this site is not therapy. It's education and opinion. When something here touches real distress — a relationship that feels unsafe, anxiety that doesn't lift — the right move is a licensed professional, and I'll always say so.
What this site will never tell you
- That any phrase, text, or program can make another adult feel something. It can't.
- That men are a puzzle with one solution. They're people, with patterns worth understanding.
- That an outcome is guaranteed. Nobody can promise you that, including us.

Where to start
Most readers come here for one of these: why men pull away, attachment styles in dating, or why he hears something different than what you said.
